BRICKELL INFORMATION

The 5th Annual Miami Taste of Brickell Food & Wine Festival

March 18th & 19th 2016 IN BRICKELL PARK

COME SHARE THE PASSION & LOVE FOR FITNESS, HEALTH & WELLNESS, FAMILY & BEAUTY

Brickell is known for its work hard, play hard mentality. Therefore we have decided to add a very special addition to the festival this year! We will kick off in Brickell Park featuring a variety of health ,fitness and wellness exhibitors, beauty specialists, along with Healthy product samplings. Brickell Park will be open to the public MARCH 18th & 19th. There is a $5.00 non-mandatory donation at the Main Gate facing Brickell Avenue.

The stroll is an amazing journey through one of the most Historical places in Brickell and probably one of the best held secrets in our busting community. Brickell Park houses The Brickell family mausoleum, dating to 1924. Although the Brickell family burials have long since been relocated to other cemeteries in Miami. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. Even earlier burials, made by the Tequesta Indians and their ancestors, are located at the park as well. It is possible that this prehistoric cemetery is part of the village site that included the Miami Circle.

Besides health and fitness exhibitors you will find an array of arts & crafts by local artists, handmade jewelry, clothing and much more. At the edge of the park facing Biscayne Bay there will be a FREE Kids Zone with lots of fun activities for the whole family.

The Food & Wine part of the Festival is MARCH19th from 1pm to 9pm behind the First Presbyterian Church of Miami. Entrance to the food & wine festival is accessed thru Brickell Park.
