About This Project

Hailing from Jamaica, Chef Kareem Anguin is a seasoned chef who was raised cooking in his family’s island kitchen. A graduate of the Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts program, Chef Kareem later honed his craft by opening the new J.W. Marriott Hotel on Brickell Avenue and manning the stove at Pescado in Coral Gables. As Executive Chef and Operating Partner of The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Mary Brickell Village in downtown Miami, Chef Kareem adds his unique Caribbean influence to all of his culinary creations, among them his short ribs with wasabi mash, lobster and mushroom risotto, citrus sweet potato, shrimp and grits, and tempura Alaskan King crab just to name a few.
